Maine distributors are an important part of the state's regulated distribution system. In addition to their distribution services, members of the Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association promote individual responsibility with their products.

Public Service Announcements

The Association’s current responsibility campaign is designed to communicate that alcohol is a unique product that requires regulation and responsibility.

The Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association has partnered with Maine Olympian Julia Clukey to be actively involved in the Association’s responsibility campaign. Julia has recorded public service announcements and appeared on local radio shows to raise awareness about the consequences of underage drinking. The MBWDA is proud to continue partnering with Julia on future projects and wishes her the best in her efforts to achieve her Olympic dreams!

To request a high school presentation in Maine from Olympian Julia Cluckey for the 2010-2011 school year, send us an email. Please be sure to include your school name, available dates and contact information. All schools must be able to provide a microphone, laptop/DVD player, video projector and large presentation screen (8 ft. or larger).
