Friends,

Cheryl Timberlake, Executive V.P., MBWDALabor Day weekend is almost here - it's hard to believe summer has come and gone. Kids are heading back to school and the fall weather is upon us. This is also the time of year when we transition from "fun in the sun" to fall festivities. We begin to harvest the garden, attend football and field hockey games and savor the great fall foliage.

As fall arrives, we want to remind everyone to be safe. Please watch for school buses and kids in crosswalks. With the excitement of returning to school, it becomes more important to slow down and make good choices.

As part of our ongoing responsibility initiative, Olympian Julia Clukey has made several on-air appearances on morning radio shows this week to talk about our new Labor Day PSA. To learn more and listen to the PSA, be sure to read the story below.

Holiday weekends are fun and festive. Please enjoy time with family and friends and, if alcohol is part of your plans, please be responsible.

Delivering Quality and Choice. Advocating Responsibility.

Sincerely,

Cheryl Timberlake
Executive Vice President
Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association
