Cheryl TimberlakeAs football season ends, attention turns to the Celtics and Bruins, and Mainers are already looking forward to the start of Red Sox spring training camp, reminding many of us of warmer temperatures.

Olympian Julia Clukey is already planning ahead for summer. In January we announced that the Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association will partner with Julia and the Kennebec Valley YMCA to host a new 10 day summer camp at Camp KV, "Julia Clukey's Camp for Girls." This is a great opportunity for young girls; please see the article below for registration information and additional details. If you know someone that would be interested in the camp, forward this e-mail to them and help us spread the word.

Valentine's Day is coming up next week and we ask you to be mindful of heart-healthy foods and beverages. Wine is at the top of many lists for good heart health and I hope the article on the left will give you some things to think about related to wine for your Valentine's Day plans.

Delivering Quality and Choice. Advocating Responsibility.

Sincerely,

Cheryl Timberlake
Executive Vice President
Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association
